At Applebee’s, we believe in making a positive impact in our local communities. That’s why we’re thrilled about our annual “Stuff the Bus” school supply drive in July, aimed at supporting local elementary schools and supporting local kids in need and ensure they have the tools they need to succeed academically. We partner with a local elementary school, adopted by each Applebee’s location, to ensure that the supplies and donations we collect directly benefit the children in your own backyard.

How does this “Stuff The Bus” work?

Every July, SSCP Applebee’s locations in TX, CA, and VA, host the “Stuff the Bus School Supply Drive” in all of our locations.  Each restaurant will collect school supplies such as notebooks, pencils, coloring pencils, paper, scissors, rules, etc. in a school bus box in the front vestibule area.  We will also collect monetary donations from guests who wish to donate to the cause.  The monetary donations are totaled at the end of the month and send via check to the school within 30 days.  Collected school supplies are delivered to the school prior to school starting.

What about my school? Schools are selecting from nominations received.  To nominate your school, please fill out the information request form. Nominations can be made by school faculty or parents of students.  Nominations will be accepted from September 1st through April 1st for the next July supply drive.  If your school is selected, the contact listed will be notified by April 15th.
